This weekend sees the release of the Acastus Knight Porphyrion, shown off a couple of months ago and the Forge World Weekender, this are going to cause a stir on the battlefields

2 in a box for £30 and according to the GW page standing just slightly smaller than a Warhound and based on 60mm round basis, these are big models, that I am certainly looking forward to adding into my Legio.

As we can see from the front of the data sheet they are coming in at 80pts + weapons, so guess gonna have to wait till next week to see their full points cost.
From looking at the data card these Knights are clearly designed to sit at the back of the battlefield and rain down fire. If the Banner is issued with First Fire or Split Fire orders then their BS becomes 3+ instead of 4+
The Twin Magna Lascannon at strength 8 and 3 inch blast template is going to rip knights and lighter Titans to pieces and ensure that Reavers and Warlords respect their location on the battlefield.
I cannot wait to get hold of a box of these.
