Scarlett Requiem Continued

 

Delivered this week is 2 terrain pieces from my good friends at 3D Kingdoms these some of the environments pieces from the Scarlett Requiem designed by Loot Studios. The above piece is the Ornate Organ and will be used to play the haunting music for an upcoming D&D game that I will be running. 

Above is the Regal Throne just waiting on the throne itself to finish the piece off. The printing is so crisp and clean. Jay and Tony at 3D Kingdoms really do go the extra mile to make sure that your sculpts are cleaned and ready for you to get the paint on.

Cannot wait to start painting these this week.

Adeptus Titanicus: New Scenery Up for Pre Order

This week sees Forge World bring us some great new terrain pieces for the battlefield. There are 4 pieces in total and easy 1 click bundle

I really like the destroyed container. I can only hope that we will see some non destroyed ones in a future release. I think this pack might see a multiple purchase for me once I get my gaming table set up and running.

Again loving the Silos can see this being a multiple purchase again for some nice big objective silo areas.

Some nice pieces if you are not going down the 3D Printed route. Each being priced at £12 I think is a pretty good price and cheaper than some of the offerings on Shapeways.

Found the familar that you need to go under the bridge #ibiza #santa eularia

In the last post I showed the Roman bridge. In order to cross under the bridge the fable tells that a witch resides under the bridge and can only utter 2 words, Eat or Work. To have safe passage the tales is that a you have to collect a flower that only comes out in a certain location under a moonlight night, The flower is then bottled when passage under the bridge is needed you open the bottle and out pops a familiar to distract the witch.

Roman bridge in Santa Eulalia #ibiza

Last week visited Santa Eularia on Ibiza this week and this is the stunning Roman bridge that leads the river into the town. There is a great walk that takes you all round the town and up to the church on the hill, sadly we only found this out on the last day.

D&D: Battle Systems Fantasy Dungeon Unboxing

Last month I spent a lot of time hunting for some flexible, affordable, durable and most importantly good looking terrain to make dungeons and building interiors. I looked at a lot of the resin companies out there, and there some great companies making some great terrain, but it missed out on the affordable selection choice, plus I would have to paint it. A friend of mine mentioned that he had backed Battle Systems Kickstarter a while back and was really happy with what he got.  So did some research watched some videos and decided to pick up the Fantasy Dungeon Set.

D&D Tavern Barrels

This Saturday we have a big D&D session at my house and Jay who will be DMing asked if I could knock up some tavern furniture. So a bit of Balsa wood work and I have 2 bar tops and the fine ale the barman will be serving
