For my Birthday the wife picked me up a copy of Massive Darkness. Big Hefty box as we have come to know and love from COMN and Guillotine Games.

After the break there will be a wall of pictures showing of the huge amount of contents from the core set.

First up are the Characters or Actors as called in the book.

In the core set you get 6 Actors, Paladin, Barbarian, Wizards, Rogue, Ranger, Dwarf Slayer. Cast in brown plastic so no painting needed unless you fancy tickling them with the ol Sable.

 Character cards and equipment, health and experience earnt.

 Ey up lads there's a few bad guys to get through.

 For the mobs you get Goblins, Orcs, Dwarves, 2 poses for each race and multiple of each type. Cast in the same plastic as the Characters.

Then you come to the mini bosses, Showing hear the Ogre Mage. Full of character and menace.

Next up are the Big Bad Bosses....

 If you don't like Spiders this is gonna hurt your dreams.

 Medusa esque, gotta dodge, duck, dive to stay out of the way of those swords.

Ohhhh Demon where is Ash when I need him?

Not sure what this is but damn he horny.

Back you foul fiend of hell.

The core game can be picked from anywhere between £80 and £100 pounds and for the quality of the 75 models I think it represents great value at the figures costing little of £1 a model. With some of the large bosses you could easily pay between £10 to £20 alone.

I am definitely going to tickle the models with the ol sable and really looking forward to getting stuck in with them.
