Grub for Gamers: Steak Sandwich with Roasted Sweet Potato

So Scott was up for cooking tonight and we were served up the best steak sandwich I have had in a long time.

The baguette was basted in garlic butter, a layer of gruyere cheese, topped with caramalised onions and mushrooms, Steak cook rare and sliced thin.

Primaris Project Post 2 Unit 3 Intercessors

Sunday saw me complete my 3rd squad of Intercessor this time armed with Stalker Bolt Rifles one with an upgraded Grenade Launcher. The Sergeant has been honoured with a Power Sword.

I have also used the Primaris Ultramarines upgrade sprue for the shoulder pads.

Completing these will bring me up to 3 complete 5 man squads and 1 HQ so a solid start to the army.

Evening all well Thursday nights is our regular gaming night. Tonight it fell to me to cook up for the guys.

Feeling all Italian inspired I cooked up Chicken Parmigiana with Sweet Potato Wedges and Mixed Green Salad with Lemon Mustard Vingerette.

WIP Primaris Purity Seals

Been working on my purity seals of late and this one I am really happy with. I am still working on my test seal to get the text correct on the main models. Once I am happy with them I will go back to complete.

Project Ultramarines Part 1

Project Ultramarines Part 1

Since my last post been mulling over how I want my Ultramarines to progress and what format I want the army to take. Many years ago I took part in a lot of tournaments, never very successful but enjoyed the games and meeting new gamers. I also found it focused my hobby to ensure that a new army was completed.

Unfortunately I have missed out on this years Grand Tournament with the last heat sold out and next month. So this will give me 10 months to collect paint and get a host of games under my belt.
