Today layered up some red on the body panels. Then had my first attempt at hand painted checks. Quite happy with how they have turned. More work on the metal tonight

Speed freeks - Army List

As part of my January Hobby Resolutions I listed planning out my new 40k army with Orks being the chosen force. Having read through the codex I have settled on Speed freeks as the start to my new army.

I think I am like many Ork collectors out there that have been drawn in by the lure of the new vehicles that came out with the recent release.

So with the event being only 27 days away I have my work cut out to get some games in to test out my game play and to get my team painted.

My team choice was fairly easy ORKS, fairly easy to play with and aiming to lay out some brutal pain with hard hitting blocks and fouls.

SpeedFreeks Green Skin

So new army started for 40k, massively drawn by the new vehicles that come out with the latest codex release. But more of that to follow in the future. I have not painted green skin in agggggeeess, so cracked out the greens and laid down some paint.

My lights have really washed out the colours so really need to work on the lighting and try and get some better shots.
